Betting has started on next week’s Winmau World Masters of darts with Gary ‘Dreamboy’ Anderson the 7/4 favourite to take the title in Bridlington. Anderson was narrowly beaten by Terry Jenkins in the semi-finals of last weekend’s Grand Slam of darts, having knocked out 2007 World Masters runner-up, Darryl Fitton, in the quarter finals. ‘The Dazzler’ is offered at 10/1 to go one better this year and claim victory. BDO world champion Mark Webster, who missed out on a semi-final place in the Grand Slam when beaten 10-8 by Mervyn King, is 7/2 second favourite to win at ‘The Spa’.
