Charlton Athletic have been cut to 10/1, from 16/1, for promotion following speculation that the club is set to be taken over by Dubai-based investors.

And the Addicks- currently 14th in the Championship- are 50/1, from 80/1, for the title.

Ladbrokes spokesman, Nick Weinberg, said: “If the deal goes through Charlton are bound to have more cash at their disposal. But even with wealthy new backers they may have left themselves too much to do this term.”
