Hyperion have been pushing on over the last few weeks, on numerous fronts. Workwise, pleasingly we are still incredibly busy and have had a cracking third quarter thus far – could be in line for record revenue figures if things continue in the way they are. Though there are various areas where recruitment is slightly stilted, on the whole we are not experiencing the usual mid-summer lull from candidates and clients disappearing for weeks in the sun. I'm looking for a UK based trading manager at the moment so if you are looking for a new position, or just interested in hearing what is out there, do get in touch.
In another development, Hyperion 5 a-side has finally kicked off with two games already played. The first resulted in a 4-4 draw which we should have won, and the second resulted in a 4-3 defeat which we should have drawn… At least they have been entertaining games! Fitness has been the issue so far, with many of the guys having not kicked a ball in many months. Once we get that up to speed hopefully things will start improving. James Faux is currently topping the scoring charts, with 3 in two games and numerous assists, if only we all had his teckers. Granted, the 4-3 was against the team who on paper appear to be the best in the league, so fingers crossed in my next blog I might be able to report a win!
