Kevin Blackwell is the 6/4 favourite with Ladbrokes to be the next permanent Coventry City manager.

Current caretaker Andy Thorn was originally the 10/11 market leader but moves out to 2/1 with Blackwell installed as favourite within the last 24 hours.

Roberto DiMatteo is a 6/1 chance with Gordon Strachan the 16/1 outsider of the group.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "Rumours suggest the board want Blackwell and for that reason we're deliberately keeping him short at the head of the market."
