Arsenal are into 13/8 with Ladbrokes for the Premier League title following Man United's 3-1 defeat at Anfield.

Sir Alex Ferguson's team have drifted to 4/6 but the bookies look certain to be cheering them on as liabilities mount on the Gunners.

David Williams of Ladbrokes said: "If Arsenal topple United it'll be a disaster for us. We're firmly in the Man United camp and their recent lack of form worries us.

"Arsenal's failure to win on Saturday was great news but we're not cheering them too loudly any more. Plenty of punters still think the title is there for the taking."

Ladbrokes promise to be top price about Fernando Torres opening the scoring in Chelsea's clash with Blackpool as the latest in the firm's "biggest names best prices" promotion.
