Sam Allardyce's odds of taking over at West Brom have been slashed by Ladbrokes.

Having been introduced to the market as a 10/1 chance on Sunday afternoon his odds have quickly been cut to 5/2 as his name is one of many linked with the vacancy.

Chris Hughton remains the 6/4 favourite with current caretaker manager Michael Appleton a 7/1 chance.

West Brom also just 13/8 to be relegated this season.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “The market is barely 24 hours old and Allardyce is the only man the punters want to be with so far.”
