William Hill have opened a book on whether the Chancellor will scrap or delay the planned 1p petrol/fuel duty increase due to take effect in April - and make it an odds-on shot that he WILL do so.
'We believe that the unpopularity of such a move both with the transport trade and the public will force the Chancellor to revise his plans and delay or scrap his planned rise in fuel duty' said William Hill spokesman Graham Sharpe.

HILLS OFFER 1/4 THAT THE APRIL FUEL DUTY RISE WILL BE DELAYED OR SCRAPPED AND 11/4 THAT IT WILL BE IMPLEMENTED.
