Novak Djokovic is now odds-on (4/6) with Ladbrokes to win the Australian Open.

Following his straight sets victory over Roger Federer his price has been slashed from 4/1 to 4/6 for the tournament. Andy Murray has been clipped from 7/4 to 11/8 following the departure of Federer and his semi-final opponent David Ferrer remains the 12/1 outsider for the tournament.

Murray is 2/7 to beat Ferrer in the semi-final with Ferrer priced at 5/2 to cause another upset.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: "Djokovic's straight sets win over Federer has set the tone and we aren't taking any chances as he is cut to odds-on. On paper he is an easier opponent for Murray but this theory has now been blown out of the water and Ferrer won't be a push over either. We are cheering on any of Murray's opponents since punters were keen to snap up our best price and he remains a huge loser for us."

Djokovic and Murray were both a best priced 8/1 and 7/1 respectively with Ladbrokes at the start of the tournament.

Ladbrokes latest betting:

N Djokovic - 4/6 (from 4/1)
A Murray – 11/8 (from 7/4)
D Ferrer – 12/1

A Murray – 2/7
D Ferrer – 5/2
