Kenny Dalglish is now just 4/1 with Ladbrokes to leave his job as temporary Liverpool manager before the end of the season.

He is also shortened to 10/1 (from 12/1) to be the next Premier League manager to be out after losing to Blackpool on his league debut.

Avram Grant remains the 2/5 favourite (from 1/3) after his Carling Cup victory over Birmingham with Carlo Ancelotti the 6/1 second favourite.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “Should Dalglish's side lose to Everton on Sunday his odds of leaving will shortern further. Grant remains in pole position for the sack but continues to be the manager with more lives than a cat.”
