Spread betting and fixed odds bookmaker Spreadex has beaten off competition from established industry names to be chosen as a finalist for Online Company of the Year in the 2011 Betview Awards.

Betview has nominated companies in this category based on the achievements, ingenuity, innovation and sheer hard work bookmakers have made to create an excellent online betting experience.

Spreadex have been selected due to a number of advances made over the past 12 months including launching a full fixed odds sports betting service, complete with accumulators and multiples, and releasing a Mobile Sports Betting Platform for iPhone and smartphone users.

Betview was launched in 2007 as a free business-to-business magazine for the betting industry and is delivered to 10,000 premises a month. The Betview Awards were created in 2009 to give recognition to hard work within the industry.

This year’s winners will be announced at the Grosvenor House Hotel, Park Lane, London on 29th March 2011.
