Leeds United are 20/1 with Ladbrokes to qualify for the 4th round of the FA Cup and go on to secure promotion to the Premiership.

Similarly, Cardiff are 9/2 to knock Stoke out of the cup and then to end up playing in the top division next season. Should the third round of the FA Cup act as a negative turning point in the season then Manchester United are a team who could be put out of their stride and it’s 5/1 Liverpool dump them out of the cup and they then fail to win the Premier League.

In a weekend synonymous with upsets the bookies expect 2-4 Premier League teams will bite the dust and exit out of the competition (11/4). It’s 4/1 that 7 teams are out and an unlikely 40/1 that we see 11 or more top flight sides fail to progress.

Crawley Town, Dover and York City are the sole non league sides left in the cup and none of them are expected to continue their FA Cup fairy tale as it’s 10/11 they are all out the cup at the 4th round stage. 50/1 is the price about all of them finding themselves in the next round.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “This is the most exciting weekend in the football calendar and we expect there to be a few upsets which could act as a catalyst for the league form of the succesful club. Can the fairytale story continue for the only surviving non league sides?”
