Shane Warne is 12/1 with Ladbrokes to play in the third test at Perth. With the Australian team on the ropes there is talk of Warne making a sensational comeback and he is 100/1 to subsequently be the top Australian series wicket taker.

Perth was the site of Warne’s highest career test score and it its 250/1 he goes 1 run better and gets his first test century. It’s 5000/1 that he is dismissed on 99 again.

Alex Donohue of Ladbrokes said: “A talismanic figure like Warne could be just the tonic the Aussie bowling attack needs. If he was to put his whites on again then he gets another chance to notch the test century which eluded him his whole career.”
