After his disappointment over the World Cup bid, David Cameron could be consoled by a 25,000/1 winning bet after he tipped the outcome of all ten Premier League matches this weekend, which would win anyone betting on an accumulator including all of his tips £25,000 for £1.
'Mr Cameron has turned football tipster and punters are sure to want to back his selections this weekend - if he gets all ten outcomes right he could win back the cost of the World Cup bid from us! We are offering odds of 25,000/1 for him to get them all right ' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.'Mr Cameron has a bit of previous punting form, too - tipping a couple of horses when he was on the BBC Radio 4 Today programme recently.Perhaps he has plans to become a professional gambler when he ceases to be PM - although we make him a 5/2 chance still to be PM when the 2018 World Cup finals kick off.'
(Please note - odds subject to amendment if one or more games poostponed.)
MR CAMERON'S PREMIER LEAGUE TIPS......ARSENAL to beat Fulham; SPURS to win at Birmingham; WOLVES to win at Blackburn; BLACKPOOL to beat Man U; CHELSEA to beat Everton; VILLA (Mr Cameron's favourite team) to win at Liverpool; MAN CITY to defeat Bolton; SUNDERLAND to beat West Ham; WBA and NEWCASTLE to draw; WIGAN to defeat Stoke.
WHAT A GLOVELY BET!
WITH BOSS Ian Holloway revealing his dislike of the trend for players to wear gloves, William Hill have opened a book on how many of his players will turn out for kick off of their game with Manchester United this weekend sporting the hand-wear. 'Ian is unashamedly old-scholl and he is no fan of players wearing gloves - but we reckon a few of his players may defy their boss and wear them for the United game' said Hill's spokesman Graham Sharpe.
