History

Hyperion was formed by Chris Denny and Alex Lafferty in February 2007. Although Chris and Alex had a history of working within the betting industry, they were never able to find a recruitment service that demonstrated a genuine knowledge and passion for the online gaming sector. Then came the big idea: Why not become the first online gaming recruitment service to offer expert guidance from former betting industry professionals? The concept was simple, yet unique, and from that moment onwards Hyperion began to revolutionise the iGaming recruitment market.

A successful first year of trading saw Hyperion relocate in January 2008, moving from Winchmore Hill to Islington in Central London. In March 2009 we moved once more to a larger Islington premises, you can now find us at 31 Highbury Studios, 10 Hornsey Street, Islington, London, N7 8EL (two minutes’ walk from Holloway Road tube station, and 15 minutes’ walk from Highbury and Islington station). Also in spring 2009 Hyperion officially launched its first satellite office in Malta. The Malta office is in charge of recruitment for the Mediterranean region and we are based at the Edge Water Complex, Elia Zammit Street, St Julians, STJ 02.
